What exciting times we are experiencing, it is the best of times- it is the worst of times, depending upon one's perspective. Great things are on the horizon in 2009, for it is a year of fullness and fruitfulness. So let's celebrate and look forward to better days.
To ensure moving forward successfully day by day throughout this year, it is imperative that daily devotional time with the Lord be included as 1st priority in our daily planner. Time spent with the Lord is not wasted time for it will yield an abundant harvest of blessings.

ReplyDeleteI have experienced more deaths of friends and peers in 2008, than I ever have before in previous years. God says that tomorrow is not promised, and that is so very true. However, as Christians we must not let this discourage us from our progressive lifestyles towards "the mark", towards Christ. I have reflected upon what once seemed to be something so tragic and un-explained, and I've drawn out of their deaths--JOY. Joy for them being Saved, and Joy as well because I still have life to live in 2009! We must be thankful and tell God everyday that his mercy on us as people is not taken for granted.

Experiencing grief and sorrow is always very stressful on the human psyche, especially at such an early age. However, through it all, God always provides strength and courage enough to keep pressing forward.
