Standing on a Firm Foundation

For it is through Him that we both [whether far off or near] now have an introduction (access) by one Holy Spirit to the Father [so that we are able to approach Him]. Therefore you are no longer outsiders (exiles, migrants and aliens excluded from the rights of citizens), but you now share citizenship with the saints (God's own people, consecrated and set apart for Himself); and you belong to God's [own] household. You are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus Himself the Chief Cornerstone. In Him the whole structure is joined (bound, welded) together harmoniously, and it continues to rise (grow, increase) into a holy temple in the Lord [a sanctuary dedicated, consecrated, and sacred to the presence of the Lord]. In Him [and in fellowship with one another] you yourselves also are being built up [into this structure] with the rest, to form a fixed abode (dwelling place) of God in (by, through) the Spirit.

Trust God at all Times

Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, just to take Him at His word; just to rest upon His promise, just to know, thus saith the Lord. Jesus, Jesus how I trust Him! How I've proved Him o'er and o'er! Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! O for grace to trust Him more!

In these days of so much trouble in every area of life, it is critical for maintaining a sense of balance and peace to trust in the creator and sustainer of the world.  No matter how deep the pit, how horrible the situation, we can be assured of God's faithfulness and everlasting love to keep us stable in an unstable environment. Day by day we find strength to face every challenge with grace and confidence by trusting in His wisdom and guidance. He gives more grace as the trials of life grow greater and to added afflictions, He adds multiplied mercy and peace. O for grace to trust Him more! Morning by morning, He gives brand new mercies; He is forever faithful. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.

Trust The Lord

Some trust in and boast of chariots and horses, but we will trust and boast in the name of our God. In a time when there is a wealth of human, technological, financial and other resources available to promote and advance the kingdom of God, it is critical to remain faithful, loyal to the Lord at all times. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. Lean on, trust in and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong in behalf of those whose hearts are blameless toward Him.

Greatest Lover

So many today are looking for genuine love and comfort that can outlast life's storms, disappointments, discouragements, grief, injustice, rejection and the list goes on. There is someone who has proven to be the greatest lover of all times and is available to love all the hurt and pain of life away. They who are well do not need Him, but those who admit to their broken -ness and being sick of tired of being sick and tired can find healing and wholeness in the presence of the Great Physician. Thanks be unto God who always leads us in triumph in Christ. Praise the Lord all people! For His mercy, truth and kindness endures forever.

Awesome in This Place

Make a joyful shout to God all the earth! Sing out the honor of His name; make His praise glorious. Say to God,"How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of your power, Your enemies shall submit themselves to You. All the earth shall worship You and sing praises to You; they shall sing praises to Your name." Come and see the works of God; He is awesome in His doing toward the sons of men. For you oh Lord have tested us; You have refined us as silver is refined. You have caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; but You brought us out to rich fulfillment. (Ps. 66:1-4,10,12)
Look what God has done; He is the master mind of all creation and by His grace, we are still standing on a sure and stable foundation. Thanks be unto God who always causes us to triumph in Christ.

Stay Connected

These are times in which it is imperative to learn how to manage the many challenges, twists, turns, ups and down of life's experiences. It is essential to stay connected to the divine power source in order to function properly during the demands of daily living. This divine power source provides everything that pertains to life and godliness. It is critical for successful living to plug in daily and become empowered for walking in victory. The Lord gives power to the weak and to those who have no might, He gives strength. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength and mount up on wings as eagles. They shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. The Lord gives strength and power to His people, therefore stay connected to His creative power.

Is There Not a Cause?

But the Holy Spirit distinctly and expressly declares that in latter times some will turn away from the faith, giving attention to deluding and seducing spirits and doctrines that demons teach. Through the hypocrisy and pretensions of liars whose consciences are seared (cauterized). 1Tim. 4:1-2) We are living amid dangerous and dark times in which many have lost courage to confront and overthrow the giants ( oppositional forces) of today. It is time for the faithful to arise and move forward in advancing the kingdom of light for the glory of the Lord. The kingdom suffers violence, but the radical ones take it by force.

Stay Connected

Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. (John 15: 4-5)

Amazing Grace

And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (2 Cor.12:9) The law of God was given to point out sin, but grace is the ultimate provision given for salvation through faith. How marvelous is the grace that looked beyond all our faults, frailities, failures and saw our great need. We are saved by grace through faith, not by works so there is no need to boast.

Closer

So be subject to God, resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you. Come close to God and He will come close to you. [Recognize that you are] sinners, get your soiled hands clean; [realize that you have been disloyal] wavering individuals with divided interests, and purify your hearts [of your spiritual adultery]. Humble yourselves [feeling very insignificant] in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you [He will lift you up and make your lives significant]. (James 4: 7-8, 10)

Chosen

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. (Col. 1:13-14) Arise! Shine! For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you and His glory will be seen upon you. (Isa. 60:1-2) You are uniquely designed, chosen and placed in a particular environment as a representative of the kingdom of God to fulfill the Father's will in the earth. As kingdom citizens, the presence of the chosen faithful ones brings light amid darkness and offers hope to the world for the glory of God.

Moving Forward

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven. With all the shifting, shaking, tearing down of old structures and so much devastation going on in the world today, it is time for the faithful to arise and shine as lights amid the darkness. Keep on moving forward, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Let God arise and His enemies be scattered.

Stay Connected

In the wake of so many catastrophic world events, rapid response to crisis situations, for the most part, has been ineffective due to systemic failures; in other words, failure among all parties involved to connect the dots in real time. On a spiritual level, the body of Christ is reminded in scripture to endeavor to keep unity among its members to avoid a system breakdown. There is a wealth of information available to ensure healthy functioning systems, however, more often than not, systems fail due to ineffective communication. It is critical to stay connected, to the extent, the world can see a demonstration of working systems that keep vital information flowing among its various parts. Till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. From whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. (Eph. 4: 13,16)

Stay Connected

As faithful believers, without being connected to Christ we can do absolutelly nothing; therefore it is critical for bearing good fruit to trust Him at all times in every situation. The supreme expression of this Divine connection is manifested when people with major differences can work harmoniously and peacefully to bring about change in the world. When human barriers fall, this is a demonstration of love, to the extent, the world can see something that only Christ can provide. I Am the vine, you are the branches, He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit, for without Me you can do nothing. (John 15:5)
