The Lord Reigns

The Lord reigns, let the nations tremble; He sits enthroned between the cherubim, let the earth shake. Great is the Lord in Zion; He is exalted over all the nations. Let them praise Your great and awesome name, He is holy. Exalt the Lord our God and worship at His holy mountain, for the Lord our God is holy. (Ps.99:1-3, 9) During this Holy Season,  it is good to remember the sacrifice of the Lamb of God at Calvary for the sins of the whole world. Thank God for giving the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. In a time of great darkness and challenging situations, the faithful people of God are placed as lights shining to bring hope and encouragement within their sphere of influence. The earth is the Lord's and everything that is in it, therefore we can lift up the name of the Lord high in the earth and He will draw others to Himself. Not to us but to Him we give all glory, honor and praise. Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.

God is Able- He Won't Fail

...the blind men came to Him, and Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They said to Him, "Yes Lord." Then He touched their eyes saying, "According to your faith let it be to you."  (Matt.9:28)
God can do anything; He is able to do the impossible for those who through faith believe. Without faith, it is impossible to please Him; those who come to Him must believe that He exists and is a rewarder to those who diligently seek Him. (Heb.11:6)  He is faithful to keep His word and all of His promises are yes and amen.  In these days of so much trouble, it is critical for maintaining a sense of balance and peace to believe that God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we ask or think according to the power that works within.  (Eph.3:20-21)  Everything begins and ends with God; He is the creator and sustainer of the world, so no matter how deep the pit, how dark the night, how horrible the situation, we can be assured that He is able to keep us in perfect peace amid a hostile or unstable environment. Day by day we find strength to face every challenge with grace and confidence by trusting in His wisdom and guidance. He gives more grace as the trials of life grow greater and to added afflictions, He adds multiplied mercy and peace.  All things are possible to them that believe; there is nothing too difficult for the Lord.  To Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy-to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
(Jude 1:24-25)

Greatest Lover

So many today are looking for genuine love and comfort that can outlast life's storms, disappointments, discouragements, grief, injustice, rejection and the list goes on. There is someone who has proven to be the greatest lover of all times and is available to love all the hurt and pain of life away. They who are well do not need Him, but those who admit to their broken -ness and being sick of tired of being sick and tired can find healing and wholeness in the presence of the Great Physician. Thanks be unto God who always leads us in triumph in Christ. Praise the Lord all people! For His mercy, truth and kindness endures forever.

Awesome in This Place

Make a joyful shout to God all the earth! Sing out the honor of His name; make His praise glorious. Say to God,"How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of your power, Your enemies shall submit themselves to You. All the earth shall worship You and sing praises to You; they shall sing praises to Your name." Come and see the works of God; He is awesome in His doing toward the sons of men. For you oh Lord have tested us; You have refined us as silver is refined. You have caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; but You brought us out to rich fulfillment. (Ps. 66:1-4,10,12)
Look what God has done; He is the master mind of all creation and by His grace, we are still standing on a sure and stable foundation. Thanks be unto God who always causes us to triumph in Christ.

Stay Connected

Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. (John 15: 4-5)

Amazing Grace

And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (2 Cor.12:9) The law of God was given to point out sin, but grace is the ultimate provision given for salvation through faith. How marvelous is the grace that looked beyond all our faults, frailities, failures and saw our great need. We are saved by grace through faith, not by works so there is no need to boast.

Chosen

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. (Col. 1:13-14) Arise! Shine! For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you and His glory will be seen upon you. (Isa. 60:1-2) You are uniquely designed, chosen and placed in a particular environment as a representative of the kingdom of God to fulfill the Father's will in the earth. As kingdom citizens, the presence of the chosen faithful ones brings light amid darkness and offers hope to the world for the glory of God.

Moving Forward

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven. With all the shifting, shaking, tearing down of old structures and so much devastation going on in the world today, it is time for the faithful to arise and shine as lights amid the darkness. Keep on moving forward, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Let God arise and His enemies be scattered.

Stay Connected

As faithful believers, without being connected to Christ we can do absolutelly nothing; therefore it is critical for bearing good fruit to trust Him at all times in every situation. The supreme expression of this Divine connection is manifested when people with major differences can work harmoniously and peacefully to bring about change in the world. When human barriers fall, this is a demonstration of love, to the extent, the world can see something that only Christ can provide. I Am the vine, you are the branches, He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit, for without Me you can do nothing. (John 15:5)

Moving Forward

In these challenging times, we are called to advance and build the kingdom; maintaining the truth that holy and righteous living are essential for shining light amid the darkness. Under the impetus of the Holy Spirit, we are empowered to demonstrate love, peace and joy throughout the earth. By surrendering to the will of God we can become bearers of good fruit so that an ongoing transformation of godly character can be birthed.

Life's Journey

Life is a journey that involves many seasons of adversities, however, if you can believe that God is behind the scenes orchestrating every event along the way, the trip can be very meaningful and enjoyable. Out of every painful situation or problem, something wonderful and new can be birthed, giving all praise and glory to God. This journey is one of faith, in which the details are visible only to the one called and not to anyone else. By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing where he was going. (Hebrews 11:8)

Glory in Suffering

On the way to your ‘there place’ of promised inheritance, very often you can remain stuck in the ‘messy middle’ a very long time, trying to get a handle on overwhelming circumstances. The length of stay in this uncomfortable and painful state, to a great extent, depends upon the willingness to obey God; choose to do whatever it takes for moving forward into a new place. Trials and tests help to reveal the glory of Christ in your life.
It is critical however to press through storms, sickness, pain, struggle, tight or narrow places in order to reach the other side.
So that no mortal man should [have pretense for glorying and] boast in the presence of God.
So then, as it is written, let him who boasts and proudly rejoices and glories, boast and proudly rejoice and glory in the Lord.
(1 Cor. 1:29, 31)

Anchored in Hope

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil. Where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever...Heb. 6:19-20

Hope in Crisis

The panacea for the ills of this world is Christ, the hope of glory. He still works miracles, is still faithful; He goes where the need of the physician is the greatest and is concerned about bringing wholeness to those who are broken, sick , confused or suffering through devastating circumstances. Those who are strong and well (healthy) have no need of a physician, but those who are weak and sick. (Matthew 9:12)

Times of Refreshing

How can I say thanks for all the wonderful things God has done, is doing and will continue to do for His children. The Lord is good, His mercy is everlasting and His truth endures throughout all generations. To God be all glory, honor and praise for everything; He is worthy to be praised. Those who believe in Him can continually be refreshed from rivers of living water flowing from the throne of God.
